BUFFALO TRAIL FUN RUN UPDATE
The Fun Run was a HUGE success thanks to all of your support. We have received 85% of pledges made so far. We still have about $5000 outstanding. Please get PLEDGE PAYMENTS turned in THIS WEEK. Thank you to Neela Suresh, Melanie McIlroy, Christy Lowder, Allison Hershman, Jessica Bland, Aiesha Morris, and Lauren Stavenger for your help with last week’s count!
TREASURER NEEDED:
Our PTCO board is in need of a treasurer. If you are interested in this position, please send an email to btptco@gmail.com or speak to a current board member. We will be holding a special PTCO General meeting to vote in our new treasurer Sept 29th.
CLASSROOM REPRESENTATIVES NEEDED:
Do you like to be involved in what’s going on in your child’s classroom as well as in the school? Then, we NEED you! Each teacher needs a PTCO Classroom Representative for their classroom. Duties include attending PTCO General meetings (only 4 remaining this school year), assisting teachers with PTCO tasks, and informing and coordinating other parents in your child’s classroom. Please find your teacher’s name and sign up below on this link.
Box Tops for Education
We will be collecting box tops as part of a classroom competition beginning September 10th until September 24th. Box Tops can be found on many of the items that you buys regularly, you just need to cut them out and send them to school. Please send in your box tops to help your child’s class win a “Triple P Party”--popcorn, popsicles, and punch! These box tops help our school earn money!
EARNING For LEARNING
Don't forget to save your Southlands receipts. Buffalo Trail is now collecting your receipts to help our school earn money. It’s as simple as saving your receipts and sending them to school with your student! Our school is in competition with other schools in our area to win cash prizes for most receipt dollars turned in!
FALL FESTIVAL
This year’s fall festival is scheduled for October 9th. It is always a very fun and well attended event for our Buffalo Trail Community. Be sure to buy your presale tickets by October 2nd. We need volunteers to make this fun event happen. Please click on the link below to sign up to help!
