PTCO GENERAL MEETING
Please come to the Buffalo Trail PTCO Meeting tonight! September 8th, 6:30pm-8:30pm. Child care will be provided. There will be door prizes and all of the insider information you can handle. As a parent, teacher, and community organization we welcome your input and ideas about how we can make Buffalo Trail the best it can be.
BUFFALO TRAIL FUN RUN UPDATE
The Fun Run was a HUGE success thanks to all of your support. We have received 50% of pledges made so far. Please get PLEDGE PAYMENTS turned in THIS WEEK. Thank you to Marisa Serna, Jessica Bland, Mimi Townsend, Heather Gilmore, Aliesha Overton, and Lauren Stavenger for your help with last week’s count!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
We need a few more volunteers to help count and record fun run pledges turned in this THURSDAY, September 10th at 9:00am. Please sign up through the link below.
BACK TO SCHOOL MATH NIGHT
Back to School Math Night is this Thursday starting at 5:30. There will be two sessions to accommodate families with multiple grade levels to visit. PTCO will also be there with a booth to sign up for volunteer opportunities. We are looking for classroom PTCO Representatives and event volunteers, so if you are interested, please stop by to sign up!
Box Tops for Education
We will be collecting box tops as part of a classroom competition beginning September 10th until September 24th. Box Tops can be found on many of the items that you buys regularly, you just need to cut them out and send them to school. Please send in your box tops to help your child’s class win a “Triple P Party”--popcorn, popsicles, and punch! These box tops help our school earn money!
EARNING For LEARNING
Don't forget to save your Southlands receipts. Buffalo Trail is now collecting your receipts to help our school earn money. It’s as simple as saving your receipts and sending them to school with your student! Our school is in competition with other schools in our area to win cash prizes for most receipt dollars turned in!
SPIRIT WEAR
All Spirit Wear orders should have been received last week. You can still order spirit wear online at SpiritGearDirect.com anytime throughout the year. Thanks again for all of your support! We look forward to seeing everyone show their school spirit!
