THE FUN RUN KICK OFF AND CHALLENGES HAVE STARTED!!
This years Fun Run theme is MindSpark Wild West, a science-infused western
mystery theme about solving problems using character.
Our goal is to raise $30,000 for snow removal equipment (4 wheeler, etc), TA support,
student resources and more!
The school wide Pep Rally on September 18th started our FUN RUN challenges.
The actual Run will be on September 27th. Students will be getting pledges toward
the number of laps they will run at the Boosterthon Fun Run. The last day to get
pledges is Friday, September 27th.  Watch our Facebook Page for updates. Students
will run between 30-35 laps. 35 is the lap max.
Parents, must register students on funrun.com in order for them to run.  This step
can be done after the Pep Rally on the 18th. Just click the “Parent Permission Box”
Students receive a free gift just for registering. This is our biggest fundraiser of the
year and we very much appreciate all the parent support.  Track your students
progress and see what prizes they qualified for on the the student dashboard.
Thank you!

Box tops for Education

Box tops is now moving towards an electronic format.  The phase out has started and during this
phase out we can actually receive double!  The way to do this is continue to clip the old box
tops.  The new ones say “scan your receipt”. However, if the product you purchase has a box top
you clip, you can clip it AND scan your receipt! We will get double credit!  Continue to clip valid,
non expired box tops and place in a baggie.  Send to school with your child and have them place
them in the Box Top Bot.
Please take advantage of this new scanning program, follow this link:
https://www.boxtops4education.com
The app is available for Apple and Android.  Just search for Box Tops for Education.
Place the app on your phone, when signing up choose Buffalo Trail Elementary as your school.
Scan your receipt.  It’s that simple. If there is a BOX TOP product on the receipt, the app will find
it and give us credit. ONE CATCH: YOU HAVE TO SCAN THE RECEIPT WITHIN 10 DAYS.
So we will not be able to accept receipts at the school. Thank you!!!
