News From the Herd--September 5th, 2016
Welcome back to school! We hope that you'll take a moment to read this blast each week to find ways that you can get involved and help make Buffalo Trail a great place for our kids.

Buffalo Trail will be holding its annual Fall Festival on September 9th at 6:30! There will be food, activities, face painting, artists and more!  Bring your whole family for a night of fun with our school community!
We STILL need volunteers! Please sign up here: Fall Festival Volunteers

We are also collecting candy for the fall festival!  The class that brings in the most candy by September 7th will receive a popcorn party!
King Soopers cards are now available at the front office or by email: btptco@gmail.com for $3 per card.  No change available at the office.  Cash or check only.

Hello Buffalo Trail Families!
The PTCO is excited to be offering a Student Directory this year for the families of Buffalo Trail! This is a great way to set up play dates, invite friends to birthday parties, or just keep in touch with classmates.
Please follow the link below to submit your information for the directory if you would like to have your child included. Being in the directory is optional, as is the amount of information included.  We have slots to add your phone number, email address, and mailing address, but you may include one, two, or all three of these items.
Information MUST be submitted by Friday, September 16th
The directories will be sold for $5.00 and an order form will be sent home in Thursday Folders.  The directories will be sent home at the end of September.

Do you like to be involved in what’s going on in your child’s classroom and in the school?  Then, we NEED you! Each teacher needs a PTCO Classroom Representative for their classroom.  Duties include attending PTCO General meetings, assisting teachers with PTCO tasks, and informing and coordinating other parents in your child’s classroom.  Please find your teacher’s name and sign up below on this link. The Buffalo Trail Fun Run will be September 30th! Look for more information to come home soon.  We will need volunteers to help with this event!  Money raised  will go toward technology upgrades and teacher grants for our school! We need volunteers! We’re celebrating Back to School By increasing our Burgers for Better Schools donations from 1% to 5%* of your total check. September 8 -18
