BTPTCO BOARD POSITIONS OPEN!
Buffalo Trail PTCO has the following Executive Board Officer Positions vacant for the 2016-2017 school year: President, Treasurer, and Fundraising Coordinator. Election for these positions will be at our next General Meeting on May 10th. Please contact a current board member if you are interested in any of these Officer Positions. We also encourage you to preview the Officers Duties on our website www.btptco.org and/or the PTCO board across from the nurses station. PTCO MEETING!
Please join us for our general PTCO meeting on May 10th at 6:30pm. We will be holding elections for board positions that night. This is our last PTCO general meeting of the year! Child care is provided.
BOOK FAIR
Our last book fair of the year will be May 16-20th. Please come check it out! This is a BOGO fair so you can walk away with some great titles if you buy one and get another free! If you can volunteer to help with set up, bringing food items for the teacher preview, book sales or clean up, sign up here: Book Fair Sign Up
MOVIE NIGHT!
Our spring event will be a movie night on May 20th! Viewing the movie will be free for anyone in the community who would like to attend. Adults MUST attend with their children. Wristbands can be purchased to participate in inflatables: hamster balls, giant slide, and obstacle course. Food will also be available for purchase. We hope you can join us for a fun evening. EDUKIT SCHOOL SUPPLIES
Beat the back to school rush by purchasing your school supplies for next school year now! Your supplies will be delivered right to your child’s classroom with no crowds to fight or exact folders or crayons to find. Let us do the work for you and save time and money! Orders are due by May 27th to receive a discount. You can also order online through June 18th.
THANK YOUS!!
Thank you to all who donated to our teacher appreciation auction. The teachers had so much fun bidding on the items and gift cards you provided. And thank you to all who showed their support by attending our Coldstone Teacher Scoop night. We had a great turn out! A special thanks to the teachers who came out to scoop! Our school community is great because of all of you!
SCHOOL OFFICE CLOSURE:
Buffalo Trail Elementary’s Office will be transferred to Mountain Vista Elementary once school is out until the end of July. Our school will be closed for some planned maintenance during the summer months. It will open again in August.
