FUNDRAISER DAYS
October 6th is our Coldstone Fundraiser night. Stop by and get a treat between 3-9:30pm. Be sure to mention you are supporting Buffalo Trail. Several of our teachers will be there to scoop your ice cream! Ms. Robbins, Ms. Jones, Mrs. Costinas, Mrs. Esgro, Mrs. Quillen, Mrs.Collins, Mrs. Johnson, and Ms. Bowers would love to scoop your ice cream for you! Thank you to these wonderful teachers for their support in behalf of Buffalo Trail! Also, thank you to those who came to our Chik Fil A days last week!
FALL FESTIVAL
The Fall Festival is this Friday, October 9th, 6:30-8:30. Your wrist band gets you into all activities including bouncy house, obstacle course, games, and one face painting and one caricature. The caricature artist will be accepting tips, so please bring cash if you would like to tip the artist. If you bring 5 cans of food to the fall festival, you will receive one ticket good for food! (One free food ticket per family) Also, different than years past, there will not be a trunk or treat so no need to wear your costume. All lost and found items will also be available for you to pick up that night, so please stop by if you’re missing something. There are a few volunteers still needed. EARNING 4 LEARNING CANNED FOOD DRIVE
We are currently in second place thanks to your participation in turning in receipts for items purchased at Southlands! Buffalo Trail is also participating in a canned food drive sponsored by Southlands Earning 4 Learning program. By donating food to help others in our community, Southlands will donate to our school! Please send in canned food from October 5th until October 16th. If you bring 5 cans of food to the Fall festival, you will receive one free food ticket to use there! (One per family limit)
CLASSROOM REPRESENTATIVES NEEDED:
Each teacher needs a PTCO Classroom Representative for their classroom. Duties include attending PTCO General meetings (only 4 remaining this school year), assisting teachers with PTCO tasks, and informing and coordinating other parents in your child’s classroom. The following teachers still need a representative: Bass pm, Kane am/pm, Collins, Hoffman, Costinas, Olson, Novickas, Jones, Matthews, Wells, DeBow, and Reese. Thank you to those who have already signed up!
Box Tops Update
Thank you to Cheryl Fullmer for serving as our Box Tops Coordinator for the past few years. Mimi Townsend will be taking over this responsibility to cover this valuable fundraiser for the remainder of the year. Thank you, Mimi!
Mrs Olson’s second grade class won the Box Tops contest for the month of September. Congratulations! They will receive a popcorn party!
