This Week’s Events

CHICK-FIL-A DAYS
TWO DAYS IN A ROW!! Wednesday, August 27 and Thursday, August 28 all day long.  Eat at Chick-Fil-A and a portion of the proceeds go to BTPTCO.  The class with the highest participation gets free kids meal coupons.  See attached flyer for full details.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for hearing screenings on Thursday, August 28
We need two volunteers from 9am-noon and two from noon to 2:15pm.  Meet in Mrs. McDonald’s room and ask the front desk for directions.  Volunteers will be responsible for bringing students to and from the screening room and helping to keep the talking to a minimum.  If you are available, please click here to sign up

Fall Fundraising Kick-Off September 16th
Keep your eye out for more information to come on our exciting  fall fundraiser: The Boosterthon Fun Run.  This is an energetic, character building and a healthy way to raise money for our school!

Other Important Information
PTCO Meetings
PTCO Meetings will be held every other month from 6:30 to 8:00 pm  in the school library and FREE Childcare is provided for each meeting on September 9, November 18, January 13, March 10, and May 12
We will have discussions on the following topics so  stay tuned for more info:  
  • What makes BTE so special?  Meet our Integrated arts staff
  • How can we keep our kids safe?
  • Food and Nutrition
  • Colorado State Standards
  • How to ‘transition’ to the next grade or middle school

Target REDcard

Target REDcard is a great way to help Buffalo Trail.  Target will donate 1% of your REDcard purchases made at Target and Target.com.  All you have to do is designate Buffalo Trail Elementary as your school and do your shopping.  Last year the school earned over $1000 just for people using their REDcar.
