Yearbook, volunteering, & 5th Grade Memory

Volunteer Breakfast: Have you thought about becoming more involved in your child's school but aren't sure how to go about finding a place?  The PTCO is having a breakfast on Wednesday, February 27th at 9:00 AM in the cafeteria.  We'd love to have you come out and hear about what we do as the Parent, Teacher, Community Organization. We will be sharing about ways you can become more involved PLUS there will be breakfast provided! We hope you will mark your calendars and plan to attend!!!  If you could RSVP by sending an email to btptco at gmail dot com so we can plan accordingly. 

Yearbook order forms went home last Thursday, you can get additional copies at the front office. They are $15.00 each until the 8th of March, after the 8th we will not take any orders until extra copies are sold at the end of school year and they will be $18. Usually the week before school ends. You can send a check into the school made payable to BTPTCO or you can order online by going to our PayPal account link on this page.  PRESALES are $15.00 per book and the last day to submit is Friday, March 8th. THAT IS THE ABSOLUTE LAST DAY for the $15.00 price, so get your order in TODAY!

5th Grade Parents:  As your 5th grader completes their time at Buffalo Trail we have the opportunity for you to leave a memory or special words for them in our yearbook. This can be a baby picture or special picture, poem and/or a message from you to your 5th grader. The size of the message is approximately the size of this box, there are four on a page. We sell these slots for $10 apiece. You may purchase multiple slots if you need a larger area. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, we need your message and picture by Friday, March 1st  EXTENDED TO MONDAY MARCH 4th (since we don't have school on the 1st). You may email the words & picture to btptco at gmail dot com or drop off a written or typed copy of what you'd like with the picture to the front office, if the picture is an original, we will make sure it is returned, just place it in an envelope with your child's name & teacher and we'll make sure it gets back to you by the 15th of March. You may pay by check or credit card  (see the the donation button for info), either include the payment with your message or drop it off at the front office if you email us the information. All money collected will go towards the 5th grade legacy project.

DO YOU HAVE PICTURES YOU'VE TAKEN AT EVENTS THIS YEAR?

We have flash drives available to check out as a way to collect these pictures, please return within 24 hours of checking out. See Alyson Silkwood in the front office. We need the pictures by March 1st, labeled with teacher/grade on file. We are looking for group photos of field trips, classroom shots, and events that you have attended. If you have a few pictures, feel free to email them to the btptco at gmail dot com address! We will try to use as many as possible, but not all will appear in the book.
